PDC World Championship Darts is back! Following on from the huge success of PDC World Championship Darts 2008, the game is taken to a whole new level with new players to beat, new games to master and a brand new throwing technique that's got all the pros talking about it!

The throwing method has been competely rewritten, with developers Rebellion working closely with Phil Taylor to make sure darts fans get the most realistic darts experience possible. PDC Darts 2009 will have three throwing assist levels; Max, Min and Off. Max will allow those not experienced at throwing real darts the ability to keep up with the game's professional players/ Min and Off modes will challenge players with greater experience taking power, dart weight and accuracy into account. Add to this a more intuitive system, whereby the aim reticule can be relocked into the same position, plus more on-screen feedback on each throw and you've got the most realistic darts experience possible in a video game.

Featuring 18 of the top professional PDC darts players, including World number one, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, and for the first time, left-handed player World number two James ‘The Machine’ Wade, the chance to pit yourself against the best in the business is right here. You can play as or against the professionals creating your own character and working your way up the world rankings in the career mode, or take on your favourite star in an exhibition match.

Have fun with your friends and family playing any of the 13 classic party games. Challenge each other in Around the Clock, Aim for the Bull, Twenty One and many more! Or why not set up a tournament with eight friends, to really find out who is the best at darts. To improve your game, have a go on one of the practice boards, with reduced bed sizes and see how close you can get to hitting those doubles and trebles. PDC Darts can be fun for all the family, whatever ability and whatever age. Both young and old can individually select a dart weight suitable for their throwing power or for a level playing field, change the assist level to influence throwing sensitivity and match their abilities.
